Mandy & Mike's Engagement Session

Wow! I had so much fun shooting Mandy and Mike's engagement session recently on her dad's farm. This was a special place for Mandy since she grew up there and it was so exciting to shoot at a brand new place. We had a blast and I can't wait to shoot this fun couple's wedding in June!

Stephanie & Ben's Opryland Engagement Session

Last week I traveled to the Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville, TN to shoot Stephanie & Ben's engagement session. I had not been to the resort before and was blow away by how beautiful it was. I could have shot there all day! Here are a few images from the session:

Jason & Pre's Engagement Session at Centennial Olympic Park

Here are just a few images from Jason and Pre's recent engagement session at Centennial Olympic Park in Atlanta. This park was very special to them because Jason actually proposed to Pre here. How romantic!

A close up of the ring:

I just loved Pre's long green dress:

This is the exact spot where he proposed:

I like the angle and colors of this one:

Isn't this couple just absolutely adorable?

I thought that this one was sweet:

One to show off the park name for them since it will always be a very sentimental place for them:

Suzanne & Shawn's Engagement Session at Piedmont Park

Here are just a few of my favorite images from Suzanne and Shawn's engagement session at Piedmont Park in Atlanta. I had so much fun with these guys and I can't wait to shoot the wedding in July!

I love the Ivy on this stone wall:

The sunlight was catching Suzanne's hair perfectly in this one:

The clouds kept threatening rain but they sure did make a dramatic shot for this skyline:

What a fun and adorable couple!

A moment alone on a park bench:

Thanks guys and I'll see you at the wedding!

Cathy & Michael's Atlanta Engagement Session

It is definitely the season for engagement sessions. I have been crazy busy "shooting" couples all over Atlanta this past week!

Here are some of my favorites from Cathy and Michael's session. It rained but we went ahead and I'm so glad that we did. We got some really cute shots and had a blast.

Our first stop was at the High Museum. Cathy suggested it as a location and it was so awesome to shoot at.

I loved this one:

The Atrium at the High was so modern. I had tons of fun with the lines:

I like the bold colors here:

This was taken in front of the main entrance. I love this tree in black and white:

Some fun on the main lawn:

Cathy and Michael were so fun to hang with:

After the High, we headed over to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens.

Don't you just love this red umbrella:

The happy couple amongst the orchids:

We had a lot of fun with the umbrella. I caught them under it here:

Thanks so much guys for a fun time. I can't wait until the wedding!

Stay tuned for more sessions!

Victoria & Jason's March 22nd Wedding at Villa Christina

Here are a few of my favorite images from Victoria and Jason's wedding on March 22nd at Villa Christina in Atlanta, GA.

I caught this one of Victoria while she was getting ready at the W Hotel. I used my telephoto lens from the corner of the room. There was some beautiful light coming in from the balcony so only available light was used. She and her bridesmaids had matching white hoodies with their names embroidered on the front. So cute!

This is Victoria's grandmother when she first saw her. It was also taken from across the room with a telephoto lens and available light. I loved the true expression of this image. You can just feel how proud she is!

Victoria had such a beautiful dress. Here it is hanging with some beautiful window light falling on it. It was taken with my standard zoom lens with available light.

I caught this one while everyone was still getting ready. I could tell that she couldn't wait to put it on!

I absolutely loved Victoria's shoes! They had so much personality that I couldn't stop shooting them! This one was my favorite shoe shot of the day. It was shot with my fisheye 14mm lens. I love shooting with a fisheye. It gives such an interesting distortion which is great for details.

I caught this one of the beautiful bride giving herself a glance before going down stairs for the formal pictures.

Villa Christina has a lovely staircase with some gorgeous natural window light falling on it. I caught this one as Victoria headed down the stairs for a few pictures before the guests began arriving.

I just love outdoor ceremonies and Villa Christina really has a beautiful outside area. What a beautiful day. I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful sky!

I caught this one with my telephoto lens during the ceremony. I chose to open up my lens to 2.8 to keep only the first boquet in foucus.

Right after the ceremony, Victoria and Jason went behind a large fir tree for a private moment alone. I caught this one with my telephoto lens through the branches. I really like this shot because of the joy that it shows.

This one was taken a few moments later.

I know that this shot is a bit cliche but it really did happen! A gust of wind took Victoria's veil over Jason's head. They were laughing so I shot away!

A quick one of the cake and boquet before the reception got going.

What a fun day. Thanks guys for letting me be a part of it!
