This past week I got to shoot a session for another former Bride and Groom. I actually shot Catherine & Lewis' wedding in 2005 and it was so great to see them again and to meet their beautiful baby girl, Ella. She is such a doll and was so much fun to photograph!

Ella just loved her plastic cups! I loved the bright colors with the white back ground:

Baby Sophie's Three Month Session

Also this past Saturday I had the honor of photographing Baby Sophie's three month session. I actually shot Brian and Michelle's wedding in October of 2006. What a thrill it was to see them again with their new additon! Thanks so much guys and I'm looking forward to seeing you again soon!

Chris and Ashley's Engagement Session

I shot Chris and Ashley's engagement session this past weeked at the Duluth Town Green. Ashley has lived in Duluth her whole life so this spot was sentimental to her. It also had some great photo ops. Despite the chilly weather and breeze that day, we managed to have some fun.

I will be shooting their wedding this May and am really looking forward to it. Thanks so much guys and I'll see you in a couple of months!

We found an overhang with some nice shade and I used the sun as an accent light for their hair in this one:



















The wind really started topick up so I asked Chris to plant a big kiss on Ashley so her hair could just blow. I liked the result with the courthouse in the background. I was also really digging the street lamps too so I was glad that I could get a shot that showed one off:




















I wonder if these guys were tempted to make it offical at the City Hall right then and there!

Baby Zachary's Six Month Session

I just love doing baby sessions! The great thing about doing sessions when they are a newborn and then at three, six, nine, and twelve months is that you really get to see how much they grow and develop in their first year. At six months, I like to showcase their new abilities like sitting up on their own and standing with a little help.

I shot baby Zachary's six month session on Sunday and we had a blast. Isn't he an absolute cutie? He just loved the camera! Here are just a few of my favorites from the session:
